MacBook Air - New To The Apple Line-Up!

New to the scene is the MacBook Air- from Apple, of course. The MacBook Air does not even compare to other notebook computers - it is so much better! It is so thin - it's nearly invisible. Weighing in at only 3 pounds, it is so sleek and portable that you really can take it everywhere you go without a hassle.
Built for wireless with 802.11n Wi-Fi and a 13.3 inch screen - for its size, the MacBook Air is still a very powerful business tool. Like the touch technology built into the Apple iPhone and the iPod Touch, this notebook computer is equipped with a multi-touch trackpad that, according to Apple's website, lets you "pinch, swipe or rotate to zoom in on text, advance through a photo album, or adjust an image".
Another very cool and useful feature is the built-in iSight Camera - which is so easy to use that, combined with the iChat software, makes video chatting easy - at home or on the go. Imagine being able to whip out your notebook and have a conference on the fly - it's so easy!

New Google Web Application for iPhone and iPod Touch

Apple's website announced a new Google web application for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

"Get the answer you’re looking for – fast. Anything from flight updates and sports results, images and weather reports to web and mobile web pages is just a click away. We’ll also make sure that pages are formatted appropriately for your iPhone. Local listings at your fingertips. Search and locate everything from restaurants to a local dry cleaner. Google will suggest businesses in your area and remember where you are. So the next time you search, you’ll get to the listings you’re looking for faster and easier.
What’s New in this Version- The new Google experience is integrated to make it quick and easy for you to find, use and switch between Google’s mobile applications including Google Search, Gmail, Calendar, Reader and more."

Best Inventions of the Year

I found Time's 'Best Inventions of the Year' list online today, and of course the iPod Touch and Apple iPhone top the list. Aside from the iPod Touch having the normal iTunes capabilities, this Apple iPod, a lot like the iPhone, has built-in wi-fi that lets you get online while on the go. It boasts a 3.5 inch wide screen with the patented touch feature that lets you immediately download iTunes music with your fingertips. These are both very cool inventions.

As far as portable music players go, also on the list was:

The Creative Zen Zone Plus, a 2GB matchbox-sized mp3 player that holds about 500 songs.

The Samsung P2, a music player for mp3 and wma files with a 3 inch screen for viewing videos. It has Bluetooth capabilities so you can beam music to Bluetooth speakers or headset and pretty soon should have the ability to take calls from a Bluetooth cell phone.
